Hi, I’m Dayna and Welcome to my website!

My name is Dayna Price. I’m a South Wales based Photographer, located in the Newport area. I started this website as part of my Photography Degree, and I’m going to carry it on for my business. I’ve always enjoyed taking pictures, travelling and finding new and interesting places, people and things. This job allows me to do that.

My passion for photography has grown so much the past few years, since studying photography and furthering may knowledge. I’ve always liked photography, taking pictures and capturing moments, even when I was little. Before studying photography, I previously studied Travel and Tourism, a very different profession to photography. After studying Travel and and Tourism for a year, I realised it wasn’t the area I wanted to go into. so 4/5 years later and I’m finishing a Degree, and trying to have a business in Photography. Photography has helped me through some tough times, its given me something to focus on when my mind doesn’t want to, it’s given me something to look forward to, seeing the end result. During Covid 19 Lockdown, when things were difficult for everyone. I had to sort of put on hold on Photography, couldn’t travel, had to stay indoors, masks were essential, as well as social distancing etc. During this time I got to thinking if this is to be the new “normal”. Outdoor shoots as much as possible, if indoor shoots are needed then masks would be worn and everything would be sanitised before and after shoots.
